Jennifer Wenthen is the Controller of Gateway Investment Partners. Ms. Wenthen has over 20 years of accounting experience in several different industries, coupled with an MBA in Finance. In addition to traditional core accounting functions, she has expertise in human resources, employee benefits, and payroll administration. She also maintains authority over all office operations, administration, and facility management.
Ms. Wenthen began her career in commercial real estate with Heitman Financial services, and has headed up the accounting teams for intermodal, software consulting and financial services firms. Her role as Controller of these companies has garnered her valuable experience as each of these firms transitioned through many phases – rapid growth, downsizing, expansion into off-shore consulting, spinning off a start-up company, fundraising, due diligence, etc. She was a key participant in the growth of a start-up firm that was ultimately purchased by a Fortune 500 company. Her background in financial services has provided her with a solid understanding of regulatory and compliance issues as well.
